Srila Gurudeva's Sripat at Jagannathpur

Srila Gurudeva's Divine Appearance Place at Jagannathpur

In the year 1999 some senior disciples of Srila Gurudeva formed a Trust Board to develop the divine birth place of Srila Gurudeva at Jagannathpur. They made a request to Srila Gurudeva’s past family members that they should donate the land where Srila Gurudeva appeared to the Trust, and, in the exchange, the Trust found another patch of land and constructed a building for the family members.

Incidentally, at the end of that same year there was a 'super cyclone' in Odisha state which completely destroyed the original old house. After that happened, the Trust Board began the construction of a memorial Temple for Srila Gurudeva.

The Trust decided to hand over the entire construction an enthusiastic follower, disciple of Srila Gurudeva, and experienced architect, Mr G.S. Senan. Senan prabhu offered to self-fund the construction work, and has been working on the project ever since. (Sri Senan prabhu sadly passed away in Bhubaneswar on the 25th April, 2024)
